This Chablis, located just a few meters from the Premier Cru Montmains, presents a very bright appearance.

Characteristics

Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay.

Soil type: Kimmeridgian, limestone rich in fossils, bringing finesse and minerality to Chablis wines.

Vine age: 35 years.

Vinification: Natural alcoholic and malolactic fermentations with indigenous yeasts. 10-month aging in oak barrels.

Alcohol: 12.5%.

Tasting: The nose is fruity, expressing finesse with delicate aromas of exotic fruits. On the palate, it is supple with a light liveliness. Beautiful vanilla flavors mingle with subtle woody notes nuanced by a fine minerality, resulting in a well-balanced profile. The finish is long and satisfying.

Food Pairing: Ideal with monkfish tagine, farmhouse chicken crumble, and gratinéed oysters.

Serving temperature: 10-11°C.
