CHABLIS 1er CRU "MONTMAINS"

The Chablis 1er Cru “Montmains” originates from a 50-year-old vineyard, situated on the left bank slopes, covering an area of 0.4 hectares.

Characteristics

Grape variety: 100% Chardonnay.

Soil type: Kimmeridgian, limestone rich in fossils, contributing finesse and minerality to Chablis wines.

Vine age: 35 years.

Vinification: Natural alcoholic and malolactic fermentations with indigenous yeasts in tanks. 25% aging in oak barrels.

Alcohol: 12.5%

Tasting: This wine displays a yellow gold color, appearing clear and brilliant. The nose presents floral and earthy aromas, with a slight mineral reduction that emerges followed by some spicy notes. The persistence is remarkable. In the mouth, it exhibits magnificent density, showcasing mineral elegance and finesse. The finish is long and satisfying.

Food Pairing: Perfectly complements dishes such as curry of monkfish, capon with morels, or simply served with a delightful seafood platter.
